The “B2 bureau“ has been working on this project for several years, and produced over 15 variations of exterior design. The building is located in the historical city center, but away from the main sights. While the site is suitable for construction, a variety of regulations, city zoning codes, and an ever-changing master plan of the city made it extremely difficult to get an authority to approve the project.
To overcome this constraint, and convince officials, we had to build a 3D model of the surrounding area, perform sightline analysis, and create an accurate visualization to show how our design interacts with the views of the city. We combined actual photos and 3D renderings for a “before-after” presentation to prove the building fits well. Our efforts paid off, the project has been successfully approved by the city and investors, and right now construction is in progress.
